How to Enjoy Panettone

HOW TO EAT PANETTONE
Here's how to best enjoy Perrino Pregiata Pasticceria Panettone
Don't rush to bite into our Panettone: before tasting it, feast your eyes on it!
Remove the panettone from its wrapper and take off the paper mould that contains it. This way, you'll be able to observe the panettone in all its facets, admire its shape and colours, and discover all its hidden details. Don't forget to enjoy the unmistakable Perrino Aroma that each of our Panettones emanates!
How to cut the perfect slice of Panettone
When the panettone has reached the ideal temperature, cut it into slices of approximately 80g, using a knife with a long, serrated blade, without applying excessive pressure when cutting, in order to best preserve the texture.
Should Panettone be heated?
Panettone needs to be stored at the right temperature in order to fully release its aromas and achieve the perfect consistency. Remember, panettone doesn't like the cold!
As true connoisseurs, we recommend heating the panettone before eating it. If you want to heat the panettone perfectly and have a fireplace available, we suggest leaving the panettone on the fireplace mantel, or on an alternative heat source, for thirty minutes. This way, the heat will slowly spread through the panettone and give it the ideal consistency.
Alternatively, we recommend preheating the oven to 80°, turning off the oven, removing the wrapper and paper mould from the panettone, and placing the whole Panettone inside for four or five minutes, in order to warm the product without making it dry.
Before enjoying it, make sure to leave it for at least one day in a well-heated environment, so that the product reaches its ideal temperature, which is around 20° to 22°. This way the butter will reach the right softness and our Panettone will become even more delicious!

Once opened, within how many days should I consume the Panettone?
Once opened, Panettone maintains its characteristics unchanged for at least seven days, if properly stored in its wrapper and in a dry place.
What is the perfect wine to pair with Panettone?
Remember to pair Panettone with your favourite sparkling wine; we recommend choosing a Valdobbiadene DOCG prosecco "Villa Santi", which you can also find in the "GIVE A GIFT" section of our website.
Etiquette and Panettone
To respect the rules of etiquette, it is appropriate to cut the Panettone at the table with all the guests, on a common plate; each guest can take their own portion and enjoy it on their own dessert plate. If you want to accompany the panettone with a sauce, remember to add a dessert spoon next to the plate.
The most suitable moment to savour Panettone
The ideal time to enjoy Panettone, during lunch or dinner, is before eating fruit. Alternatively, you can enjoy Panettone at breakfast and as a snack, with a good cappuccino or a cup of tea. But remember, every moment is the right one to eat Perrino Pregiata Pasticceria Panettone.
